A closed picture like this doesn’t suggest much at first glance, but if you look hard enough you might find a story in there. I’ve found half a dozen that are completely unrelated to the actual moment the photo was taken. There are subtleties in this image that were not apparent to me when snapped the photo. I took it because I thought it was a pretty view. What do you see?

Thank you. It was taken from the veranda of a cabin I was staying in in the Adirondacks in New York. I woke up just as the fog was beginning to settle. I have a sequence of photos of the fog settling and then lifting.
